For researchers and students
Your research, in one window.
The desktop app. Your papers, your LaTeX, your code and an assistant that can actually run things — in one window, on your own machine.
Windows · macOS · Linux
What it does
-
An assistant with real tools
It runs Python, reads the papers in your library and browses the web — and you see every step it takes.
-
Your paper library
Search arXiv, OpenAlex, Crossref and more at once, download papers into your project and ask questions about them.
-
LaTeX and code, built in
Write, compile and fix LaTeX with the PDF beside the source. Edit and run Python without leaving the window.
-
References that just work
Every paper is a citable entry. Import .bib or .ris, and \cite{} completes from your own library.
-
Maths you can check
Derivations run through SymPy step by step, so you can see which equations were verified and which were not.
-
Private by default
Your files stay on your computer. Bring your own key for Gemini, Claude or OpenAI, or run a local model.
Optional
Stupidon Notebook
A handwriting canvas for your tablet or phone. Open it from the desktop app by scanning a QR code — it runs in the browser, nothing to install.
Write by hand with a pen, add code and notes, and run them on your computer. Your tablet and computer need to be on the same Wi-Fi.
An Android app is coming to Google Play. You don't need it — everything works in the browser.
- 1 Open the Stupidon desktop app and choose Sync Tablet.
- 2 Scan the QR code with your tablet or phone camera.
- 3 The notebook opens in the browser, connected to your computer.
